On Lisa’s birthday, her parents gave her a Snow Bunting pet. This is a quite rare bird, only found in Greenland. What’s unique about the Snow Bunting is that it quickly gets used to its owner.
If you keep it in a cage for 3-4 months and spend regular time with it (feeding, interacting, petting), you can confidently release it from the cage and it will not fly away from its owner.
Perhaps there is something in its name that resembles a loyal creature – a dog.
So here’s what happened next. After 3 months of being with the bird, feeding it, playing with it, Lisa decided it was time to let the bird out of the cage. But she was too hasty.
When Lisa opened the cage, the bird flew away. Lisa’s two brothers came to her rescue but unfortunately, they couldn’t find the escaped Snow Bunting.
Can you identify where the bird is in this picture?
