IAS officer Jitin Yadav’s tweet about a quiz has attracted attention from those preparing for the civil services exam conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). “If you can solve this then you will definitely clear the CSAT. Best wishes,” Yadav, an alumnus of St.Stephen’s College and JNU, tweeted. The puzzle is about opening a lock, the key to which is a three-digit code. Key clues need to be solved using hints. Yadav’s tweet has received more than 870 likes and been shared more than 80 times. How to solve this puzzle? Many users said it was 150 or 420. Deepak Dwivedi, Assistant Director, Indian Information Services responded to this tweet with a detailed reply. From 1st and 3rd row, 0 points in common and it’s in the right place in the first row. From the 2nd and 3rd rows, 4 is the common point and it is in the wrong position. Now from Row 5, the third number is 2 and it is in the wrong position. Therefore, the correct Number is 420. Solved, another user explained.
