Dementia is a chronic mental health condition diagnosed in millions of older adults globally each year. The umbrella term is used to describe a group of symptoms that affect memory, thinking, and social abilities that can seriously impact a person’s daily life. There is no way to prevent the condition from developing nor can it be treated. It can only be managed with the help of medication and therapy.
However, there is always an option to cut the risk of infection by taking some small measures from an early age and staying physically active is one of them. Studies show that staying active including doing some household chores can cut back risk of memory loss later in life.
