The new poster for John Wick: Chapter 4, the sequel to the 2019 film John Wick Chapter 3, has been released. It features a strong-looking Keanu Reeves looking into the camera. Lionsgate’s Twitter handle revealed the new poster which reads “His time is up. #JohnWick4 – in theaters and IMAX March 24.” But besides Keanu Reeves, what caught everyone’s attention was the optical illusion hidden in the poster itself. When you first look at the poster, you see a very simple portrait of the actor. However, when you look closely, you will see that John Wick’s tie is actually an hourglass. There’s more to it than that… The hourglass is filled with bullets, due to the movie’s famous action elements. Additionally, the logo has a very creative and innovative aspect. John Wick posters will definitely test our visual perception. In fact, placing the tie like an hourglass is very clever, possibly showing that the film has a limited runtime and is full of action. Furthermore, it is also noted that the logo – the initials of JW – highlights the numerals IV, depicting that this is actually John Wick’s fourth attempt to escape the villainous High Table.
