List of fastest centuries in T20 international cricket: Sahil Chauhan of Estonia holds the record of fastest century in T20 international cricket. He scored a century in 27 tackles against Cyprus on 17 June 2024.

Sikandar Raza of Zimbabwe wrote his name into the record books on his way when he scored 133 not out off 43 balls against Gambia on October 23, 2024. He scored a century off 33 balls, here is the second fastest century in T20 Internationals.

Previously, the fastest century record belonged to Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton of Namibia. He scored his century in 33 balls against Nepal on 27 February 2024.

David Miller, Rohit Sharma and S Wickramasekara hold the joint record for fastest T20I scores of all time. Three of them smashed centuries off just 35 balls in T20Is.

The first T20I match was held between Australia and New Zealand on 17 February 2005 at Eden Park in Auckland. Australia defeated New Zealand by 44 runs with Australian captain Ricky Ponting not out on 98 runs.

1. The first century of the T20 International format was scored by Chris Gayle (117 runs) against South Africa at the inaugural ICC World Twenty20 in 2007.

2. Australia’s Aaron Finch holds the record for highest score (172 runs) in T20I format.

3. David Miller, Rohit Sharma and S Wickramasekara scored the fastest centuries in T20 off just 35 balls each.

4. Australia’s Glenn Maxwell and New Zealand’s Colin Munro have each scored three centuries.

5. So far, only three Indian batsmen, Suresh Raina, Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul, have scored at least a century in the T20I format.

6. Hazratullah Zazai (Afghanistan) is the youngest player (20 years, 337 days) to set a century record in T20I format.

7. Suryakumar Yadav scored his third century in just 45 balls against Sri Lanka on Saturday at Rajkot, making it the second fastest T20I century for India.
