A new take on a children’s puzzle: assemble squares from the dog bones.

Do you remember those clever puzzles of your childhood when you had to move several matches to get the desired shape? We created similar puzzles, but instead of matches we will move dog bones.

The task is simple: just move three bones to get three squares. You might say, “I just need to move two bones to get three squares,” but it’s not that simple. The challenge is that there are only 3 squares on the board and nothing more.

There is no time limit for this puzzle. Furthermore, you can use pen and paper to explore options and find solutions. Ready?

You need to move the bottom two bones and the bone between them. Did you get it?
