Another optical illusion of darkness, this photo was taken by Katrin Korfmann and named Homo Ludens.
“Students play tag in an Amsterdam playground, their long, inky shadows seen from this vantage point, Lowry-esque, skipping over figures on the bright floor, floating. Seen from afar – the photo is 145cm wide – the effect is of a dark theater,” The Guardian reported in 2013.
