Love at first sight happened between American Aidan Mann and his dog named Plum. As soon as he saw this snow-white beauty, he immediately knew he wanted to take care of her for life.
The man first saw Plum as a puppy – the dog was just five months old. Plum is an extremely adorable Australian Shepherd who unfortunately lost his hearing and eyesight at birth. But even such serious disabilities do not scare Aidan.
Plum becomes an official member of the Mann family. She was very close to another man’s pet, a large dog named Lola. Lola helped Plum adapt to her new environment and kept her from getting bored.
Every one of Aidan’s acquaintances wondered how he interacted with the practically blind and deaf dog. The man, in turn, told of Plum’s elaborate methods of raising her, her unusual training, and the ways to awaken her.
Aidan has adapted quite quickly to the fact that Plum is not like Lola. His approach to his two pets is different, but he doesn’t neglect either one. The training process went smoothly: Plum was obedient and intelligent despite being blind. Of course, Aidan often uses Plum’s sense of smell and pampers her with snacks.
This is how Aidan wakes up his dog: every time he lies down in front of him, he gently blows his nose. This flow of air causes the dog to immediately wet his nose and wake up. The dog is used to being greeted with Aidan’s affectionate arms when he wakes up.
