The survey found that Indians’ sleeping patterns have worsened over the past 12 months. When was the last time you had 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep without distractions? Has your sleep changed since the COVID-19 pandemic hit us? To find out the current sleeping habits of Indians, LocalCircles, a local social media community, conducted a national study on ‘How India sleeps’ to mark World Sleep Day (17 March). The study received over 39,000 responses from 309 districts across the country and found that the sleeping patterns of Indians have worsened over the last 12 months and most of us are sleeping less since last year.
